The space in which we live is a three-dimensional one and the people are expressed as a single dot. The "E" stands for the Energies in our life that encounter a Cube.
Raemian suggested five design elements based on the concept of the E-Cube, which are Energy Saving, Energy Recycling, Ecology, High Efficiency and Natural Energy. All five elements play an important role in providing the process involved in fusing the concepts that each element embodies.
- Energy Saving - Capturing enrergy that is being unnecessarily depleted
Energy is an extremely important consideration in building a futuristic residential space that employs cutting-edge technologies. Our houses waste energy, thats a fact. To address this issue, Raemian adopted the "Energy Saving" concept, which recaptures energy that can be easily wasted here and there, into the design. The home automation system, named Raemian Energy Management System (REMS) analyses and controls energy usage. It enables constant real-time monitoring of volume of electricity use, specific load, gas, heating, water usage level and fee, apartment fee by year and month. In addition actual conditions on energy consumption are analyzed to encourage a routine that reduces energy use. Intelligent air-conditioning and heating systems are installed in such indoor spaces as the bedroom maximize energy conservation. the intelligent system, which is based on infrared sensing devices, prevent unnecessary waste of energy while facilitating a pleasant indoor environment. - Energy Recycling - Limitless square of energy
"Energy Recycling" pursues perpetually repetitive circulation, not merely a single or several circulations. It has become a integral element of E-Cubic. Raemian features a system called "Watergy" a combination of the words "water" and "energy".This refers to the ecological treatment of heavy water through the use of solar energy. In addition to the fact water used at the home undergoes sewage treatment to be recycled as water for domestic use, the process of solar energy being used to heat water and provide heating through heat exchange is also fundamental component of the environment-friendly approach. - Ecology - Environment-friendly architecture that reduces natural losses
Raemian adopted the element "Ecology" to build housing using materials that are as close to nature as possible and to create a residential environment that is similar to nature. A leading example is the "fountain tower" that will perform the role as a spring within the Raemian complex. Through the fountain tower, tap water passes through natural minerals like zeolite, evlan, germanium and deep-sea minerals, to become purified and provides clean water to the residents.
The "corrugated cardboard duct" which was developed for the first time in Korea, is a new material that places the highest priority on ecological value. This product, which replaces the existing zinc coated duct or PVC duct, reduces the volume of carbon dioxide generated during the production process to a about one-quarter of existing methods. Moreover, the double airspace of the corrugated cardboard duct not only enhances insulation efficacy, but is also outstanding in reducing noise. - Natural Energy - Dividing the source energy of nature
The process of mankind generating and using energy requires the use of other energy. However, natural energy, which is in great abundance, is an optimal resource that does not damage nature.
The small ventilation wind power generation is an example of an advanced use of natural energy. This involves generating electricity through simultaneous use of natural wind and ventilation wind that is discarded from the dry ventilation areas in underground parking lots or near ventilation fans on the rooftops.
This Raemian Style also proposes the "Eco Heating Pump" system which improves the efficiency of combustion-type boilers by three to four times. The Eco Heating Pump is a radiant heating system that supplies atmospheric energy as electrical energy. - High Efficiency - Optimal use of energy that incrase product by twofold
Raemian's "High Efficiency" is a concept involved with creating a residential space that uses energy in the most suitable manner. A design that achieves high efficiency in the use of resources and spatial arrangement stands at the peak of where technology and aesthetics meet.
Building materials that include the Phase Change Material (PCM) are included in the smart wallboard, aerated concrete, cooling panel and plaster. PCM refers to latent heat storage materials, heat accumulating materials and cold storage materials that accumulate high level of heat energy or emit stored heat energy.
This overview of the Raemian Style concepts will help us to get a better understanding of all the technological thoughts we will introduce in the next posts.
